2020 brought lots of changes to the 4-H program as we transitioned to virtual programming, but that didn't stop 4-H members from remaining active and determined with their projects. Congratulations to everyone who received awards for their hard work this year!

2021 Outstanding 4-Hers Anne Meszaros and Kaylin Rose
- Anne Meszaros and Kaylin Rose were recognized as the 2021 Outstanding 4-H'ers.
- The Bolts & Bytes 4-H Club received the Outstanding 4-H Club Award. Their club has a membership of eleven youth who complete robotics, STEM, and various family living projects. Even though 4-H clubs had to transition to virtual education and participation this year, members from Bolts and Bytes continued to stay involved in activities on the county, regional, and state 4-H level while also completing multiple service projects.
- Numerous 4-H Leaders received awards for their years of service as volunteer leaders. Highest esteem honors went to Ken Carr who has volunteered with the 4-H program for the past 45 years.
- The Friend of 4-H Award recipient was COOL 101.7. COOL has been a 4-H supporter for many years, but this year they went above and beyond by setting up a livestream through COOL TV! during the 2020 Crawford County Alternative Junior Shows, Exhibits, and Livestock Sale that took place during what would have been the week of the fair. COVID-19 restricted the event to only the participants and their parents, so the livestream made it possible for family members who could attend in person to still view the shows and see the projects the kids worked hard on throughout the year.
- Numerous 4-H'ers received Outstanding 4-H Project Book Awards and those who attended regional, state and national events also received certificates.
- Two new awards were also presented this year. They included the PA 4-H Clover Awards, which is a series of ladder awards that members climb as they progress through their 4-H participation, and the 4-H Horse Hoof Hours Awards, which is another multiple level award where members are recognized for spending 100 hour increments of time working with their 4-H project horses. Sixteen 4-H members received Clover Awards and ten received Hoof Hour Awards.
