Land Development/Stormwater Management

McCrone’s Annapolis, MD team is seeking an engineering intern to work closely with Project
Managers and Project Engineers to assist with a variety of projects throughout Maryland and
include stormwater management, environmental site design, and sediment and erosion control
plans. Tasks may include writing and compiling stormwater reports, stormwater management
calculations, putting together sediment and erosion control plans, and assisting with agency
submittals. Site visits will also take place throughout the internship to observe projects in all
stages of completion in order to gain a better understanding of what consulting firms are all
about.

Desired Skills & Experience:
• Must be pursuing a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering or Biological Engineering from an ABET accredited university
• Experience with hydrology software such as TR-55 and TR-20
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

Responsibilities:
• Assist with multiple facets of civil site design including site layout, stormwater management calculations, and sediment and erosion control plans
• Assist with permit processing and submittals with local and state agencies
