Land Development/Stormwater Management

McCrone is seeking a goal-oriented and talented entry level civil/water resources engineer to
join our Land Development groups to work on a variety of projects. The Design Engineer will
work closely with Project Managers and Project Engineers on projects located throughout
Maryland that will include stormwater management, environmental site design, and sediment
and erosion control plans for commercial, residential, industrial, institutional, and government
sectors. You will be exposed to a wide variety of projects which will require you to apply your
engineering knowledge and problem solving skills. So, if you desire to become a well-rounded

Desired Skills & Experience:
• Must have a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering or Biological Engineering from an ABET accredited university
• Familiarity with AutoCAD preferred
• Experience with hydrology software such as TR-55 and TR-20
• EIT License preferred, but not mandatory
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

Responsibilities:
• All facets of civil site design including site layout, land grading, stormwater management, roadway, utilities and sediment and erosion control
• Client and consultant interaction while working on projects
• Assisting with permit processing and submittals with local and state agencies
