Job Title: Sales Manager

Job Brief: Agmine is an emerging company, in an established industry, offering a superior line of products and services. We are looking for a results-oriented person to actively approach existing prospects, attract new clients and close deals nationwide. The successful salesperson will be customer focused, tenacious, goal driven, and will be highly rewarded.


  • Understand, present, promote and sell our solution-based products/services to prospective customers
  • Generate leads, qualify prospects, and expand client database
  • Achieve ongoing goals for contacts, presentations, installations, sales, and key performance metrics
  • Negotiate/close sales
  • Maintain a prospect-customer database.
  • Maintain sales reports in keeping with company reporting mechanisms.
  • Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
  • Document customer needs, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services
  • Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
  • Attend industry tradeshows/conferences

Anticipated Time Allotment:

  • 60% - Traveling to new prospects and existing customers, working tradeshows, attending conferences etc.  A typical month might include visiting 20 potential customers, often within several shared geographic areas.
  • 20% - In office hosting customer visits, meeting with internal colleagues on current quotes and projects, preparing presentations, monitoring customer product testing etc.
  • 20% - Maintaining customer database, arranging future appointments, prospecting for new leads.


  • Proven sales experience in animal feed, animal production, and/or related fields
  • Highly motivated and target-driven
  • Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
  • Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to audience needs
  • Relationship management skills
  • Familiarity with feed mills and animal production
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent
