Please join Penn State Extension in welcoming William "Keith" Adkins to his new role as Master Gardener Coordinator in Potter County.

Keith Adkins is the new Master Gardener Coordinator for Penn State Extension of Potter County. He has also served as the Coordinator for McKean County for the past two years. With over five years as a certified Master Gardener, Keith brings extensive knowledge and passion to his role. His journey into gardening began at the age of 8, working alongside his grandparents on their market farm in East Texas. This early experience shaped his lifelong commitment to horticulture and education.
Keith's diverse background includes nine years of service in the military, where he developed his skills in art and photography while stationed in Europe. After his military service, he established a successful website design, graphic design, and fine art business, as well as a professional photography studio, which he has operated for over thirty years. Keith's dedication to fostering sustainable gardening practices and educating the community continues to thrive through his work with Penn State Extension.
