Jean Savitts was also recognized for 10 years of dedicated service. Jean has been an outstanding educator for local youth, and a treasure in the various demonstration gardens over the years. Her generosity and desire to continue learning has made her the embodiment of the Master Gardener program.
Tina Miller Received her pin for 15 years of ongoing volunteer service. Tina has served as an officer many times, and organized multiple plant sales, often nurturing and repotting small perennials in her greenhouse for weeks in the spring. She has worked hard in the demonstration gardens over the years and has long been a knowledgeable cornerstone of the program.
Diane Peachey has also been acknowledged for 15 years of service. Diane has always been an active volunteer, and she is the group expert on growing gourds. Her kind and generous spirit manifests itself throughout the entire community, far beyond the Master Gardener program.
Sara Buffington has been recognized for 15 years of volunteer work, and for completing the milestone of 500 volunteer hours.
