The garden will be going through a change starting in 2022 to be more of a pollinator friendly garden.
The Penn State Extension Master Gardener Demo Garden located at the Mifflin County Library has been put to bed for the year thanks to Master Gardeners Sara Buffington and Janet Strasburg. In early December they removed the sweet gum leaves and decorated the planters by the sidewalk with greens, partially donated by another Master Gardener, Karen Sigler. The garden is maintained throughout the year by many dedicated Master Gardeners from Juniata and Mifflin counties, headed by Sara. The garden will be going through a change starting in 2022 to be more of a pollinator friendly garden. Make sure to stop in and check out the garden.
