Hello, I'm Jill Watters from Blair County. I've been with the MG program since 2018. My main interests are Native Plants/Pollinators/Birds-Wildlife and having them all coexist peacefully in my yard. To me, there is no better time of year than when my favorite pollinators... hummingbirds... are back in the area and keeping things lively. I like to fill my yard with bee balm and other hummingbird favorites, but I also always have a hibiscus or two on my deck so I can watch the hummers outside my windows. This shot was taken from inside the house through the window to give them plenty of space. Though my camera and tripod were the main tools, it was my patience that made this photograph possible. I feel honored to have it in the 2021 MG calendar. Hopefully we will all be outside soon enjoying the things we love most!
