Technology in Crop Production. We work on agricultural robotics, precision farming, perception and manipulation tasks for agriculture.

For the implementation and support of our field in the area of robotics, digitalization and artificial intelligence in agriculture, we are looking for a motivated employee who, together with us, will continue to advance research and contribute new ideas to our team. The focus of the tasks is the optimization of a complex tractor-seedbed combination with regard to machine utilization and operability. Close cooperation with agricultural machinery manufacturers and farms is planned. In addition, a contribution is to be made to general tasks in the field (e.g. in teaching).
The position is limited to three years and offers the possibility to write a dissertation.
Collaborators include the Smart Robotics Lab (Imperial/TUM); ETH and Uni. of Reno, Nevada (in the DARPA SubT Challenge).

- M.Sc. degree in agricultural sciences, engineering or similar.
- Good knowledge of agricultural technology and agronomy (plant production technology)
- Practical experience in the use of agricultural technology
- Good IT and automation knowledge
- Experience with data analysis (measurement technology and machine data)
- Good English language skills for writing scientific articles and reports
