Students showcase sustainability projects at the Campus and Community Sustainability EXPO

Five teams of Biological Engineering students presented their senior design projects at the Campus and Community Sustainability EXPO, held at the State College Borough Building on Monday, April 24. Two of the teams were awarded top honors for the "Outstanding Posters" category. Team Bellefonte Borough Compost (Marc Gluberman, Chris Valdez, Haley Henderson, and Daniel Leavy) won 2nd place, and Team Cree Manor Stormwater (Brittany Ayers, Kaitlyn Morrow, Zachary Klueber, and Michael Henderson) won 1st place. The senior design projects were developed in the BE 460 & 466 senior design sequence, required for all Biological Engineering majors.
