Congratulations to Jennifer Rauhofer for receiving the 2013 ABE Outstanding Engineering Alumnus Award

This year the Department of Agricultural and Biological Engineering's College of Engineering Outstanding Alumni Award is being presented to Jennifer Rauhofer. This award recognizes alumni for their achievements and provides opportunities for those recipients to interact with the college's faculty, students, and other alumni.
Ms. Jennifer Rauhofer's expertise is in Natural Resource Engineering.
Ms. Rauhofer is currently the President of Stormwater Maintenance, LLC/ Stormwater Consulting, Inc.
Ms. Rauhofer specializes in the application of complex hydrologic and hydraulic engineering principles to solve unique analytical problems that are used in design and construction applications. She is thoroughly familiar with Maryland’s stormwater management guidelines and has incorporated them into numerous projects involving wetland protection, floodplain management and water quality Best Management Practices. Types of BMPs designed by Ms. Rauhofer include sand filters, shallow marsh wetlands, bioretention facilities, and recharge and infiltration practices, among others.
Ms. Rauhofer received her M.S. in Agricultural and Biological Engineering, Pennsylvania State University, 1998, and her B.S. in Agricultural Engineering, Pennsylvania State University, 1996.
