Students have the opportunity to participate in three types of internship programs with an external company or agency: a paid experience, a volunteer experience, or completing an internship to receive Penn State credits toward your degree. Most of our students opt for paid internships.
Here are several tips for finding internships and getting the most out of the experience:
- Meet with your academic adviser to discuss internship ideas and interests.
- Visit the College of Agricultural Sciences internship website for possible opportunities.
- Review opportunities that are sent to the undergraduate student e-mail listserv.
- Check the ABE Student Resources pages for job and internship postings.
