Dr. Earl Myers, Professor Emeritus of Agricultural Engineering, passes

Earl A. Myers, January 15, 1929 to December 4, 2012

Dr. Myers started his career as an instructor in the department in 1951.  He received his B.S. in Ag Engineering in 1950 and his M.S. in Ag Engineering in 1952, from Penn State.  He left to join the Army in 1954-56, and then received a Ph.D. in Agricultural Engineering from Michigan State.  After returning to Penn State, he worked his way through the professor rank until his retirement in 1974.  He died here in State College on December 4, 2012.
